TERMS & CONDITIONS
Purchasing from Orchard Floors, means you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. “You” refers to the buyer and “us” or “our” refers to Orchardfloors.ie
It is recommended to read our terms and conditions and understand them before placing an order. The colour match of the products to those in the images may contrast due to restrictions in camera settings, lighting and browser settings. We advise asking our customer service team any questions before purchasing a product, to give you more information. Boards may have variation and may not be an identical match to the photo displayed. Box sizes will also differ.
All purchases will be delivered directly to the buyer’s premises. Our €55 delivery charges apply throughout Ireland (VAT included). Once payment is processed for goods, your order will be dispatched within 2 days, with delivery estimated to take 48 hours of goods being dispatched (Monday – Friday)
Every attempt will be made to make sure all products are in stock; no certainty of availability is guaranteed. All deliveries will be made by a third party and if accessibility poses an issue and delivery has to be attempted again, e.g., the road restricts a particular weight limit and notice is not provided by you, extra charges for re-delivery may be imposed. If you are unable to provide a signature on the day, re-delivery charges may be imposed. As we use a third-party delivery company, it is a kerb-side delivery, meaning the driver will not be able to move the goods inside the premises for you. The products will only be delivered outside of the property. We recommend having assistance at the time of delivery to move the goods inside the property, to ensure safe arrival of goods. Delivery day can only be estimated by us and we will not be held accountable for goods not delivered on a particular day which was quoted by a third-party haulage company. The buyer must examine all items for damage before the delivery is accepted. We should be notified immediately if goods are damaged. We will not be held accountable for items damaged during transit, if a signature has been given by the customer. If your goods arrive damaged, it must be signed as “damaged”, for us to send replacement goods out. If they are not signed as damaged, we will accept no responsibility for any damages. You can refuse to take a damaged delivery. Although, if goods are returned to us, due to refusal to accept the goods by a customer and after inspection there is no indication of damages, it will be treated as a cancellation and a credit note will be issued. If you want to accept a damaged delivery, it still must be signed as “damaged” with the courier. We recommend not booking a fitting of the goods, until the items have been received, as we will not be held responsible for any charges incurred due to late fittings due to a late delivery or damaged goods. On some occasions, delivery delays are unavoidable and you will be informed immediately if your order will not be received as scheduled.
We will happily refund or exchange any undamaged, unopened packs of flooring or accessories after full installation of the floor has taken place. Proof of purchase and all contact details will need to be obtained to order to process a full refund. Goods must be returned within 14 days of goods being purchased. The customers is responsible for the cost of returns.
PRICES AND TAX
The prices displayed for the goods include VAT but exclude the delivery charge unless explicitly stated. The delivery charge (€55 for all nationwide deliveries) will be displayed at the checkout before you will be acquired to confirm the order. This price total will include VAT at the present ROI rate.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
(Applies to Internet Sales Only). In relation to the European Directive on consumer rights (Directive 2011/83/EU), the buyer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days after delivery of the goods. On the occasion you wish to cancel your order, you are responsible for all charges incurred for returning the goods to us. The returned goods are the buyer’s responsibility until we receive them back to us. It is advised to use a courier service that will guarantee the buyer the full value of the items once the goods are returned.

In relation to the European Directive on consumer rights (Directive 2011/83/EU), You have the option of contacting us to organise collection of goods for you, however in certain situations we have the right to refuse the collection of returned goods on the buyers’ behalf. All goods must be packaged sufficiently. You can contact us for advice in relation to the packaging of the goods, as the goods and packaging must be returned without marks and damages. To cancel your order, you must inform us as soon as possible by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact our phone number. We will organise collection of the items from the delivery address provided and a refund will be processed for the goods, with the cost incurred for collection (€55) deducted from the total refund. Goods must be re-packaged exactly as they were delivered, with the refund being made to the original card used for payment of the goodsthe buyer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days after delivery of the goods. I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM
If you receive the incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible at email@example.com or call our phone number. It is important to have your order number, name and address and product details ready to provide our customer service team with. We will then organise exchanging your order. Before opening any packs or installing the floor, make sure you have the right product and are happy with it. Exchange of a wrong product must be organised before the item is fitted or used, otherwise the incorrect goods will not be returned. We must be informed within 7 days of delivery if the wrong goods were received. Unless the item is faulty, we will not refund any goods not in their original packaging, or where there has been evidence of the packaging being opened or the floor being fitted.
For an exchange or refund of goods to be carried out, wrong items received must be returned in good, unused condition. The buyer is accountable for ensuring the safe arrival of wrong items to us. If the buyer does receive the wrong items, we will provide a full refund to the customer and we will arrange collection of these goods. If this is the case, the buyer must be available to return the goods to the courier driver.
All goods are listed with warranty information on the page. If a damp proof membrane is not used on ground floors, if a moisture test is not recorded, if the right underlay is not used and if the floor is incorrectly fitted, this will hinder your guarantee. Floor warranties will not be considered if the floor is incorrectly fitted or the appropriate site conditions are not taken into consideration.
In relation to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), all confidential details, for example, credit card details are kept secure and only used in encrypted form. In relation to the Data Protection Act, no customer details are given to third parties.
There is an agreement with the buyer to indemnify us against claims, losses, liabilities and damages or expenses that may occur from usage of this site.
Your constitutional consumer rights are not affected by the above terms and conditions.
The buyer recognises that all intellectual property, material or writing found in this website is owned and will remain secure in Orchardfloors.ie and our licensors. The buyer agrees that the content in this website is for personal use and should not be commercially taken advantage of. You may download content to help with the choosing of a floor but it should not be for commercial use.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders will arrive on a wooden pallet or crate and will be delivered to the nearest accessible location i.e. Kerbside delivery. The courier is unable to assist with unloading the items off the pallet, therefore once the pallet is delivered it is under your care to unload. If your property has restricted access please let us know at the time of ordering. Courier will contact you approx. 1 hour prior to delivery and pallet orders will require a signature upon delivery. Smaller orders (less than 50kgs approx.) will be sent by postal/ small package courier services.
As soon as your order has been placed with us and payment confirmed we will process your order for dispatch. It is the buyers responsibility to insure the correct quantities and products have been ordered. Mistakes or amendments to your order should be made via: firstname.lastname@example.org or via Tel: 087 7554 332. We will do our upmost to change order prior to dispatch. Please allow for circumstances out of the company’s control. E&OE. The management reserve the right to refuse any sale.
Returns & Replacements
We accept for return full un-opened boxes within 28 days from date of delivery. It is the customers responsibility to return goods to our main warehouse in Dundalk. Goods returned will be inspected by our warehouse and must be deemed fit for re-sale as a new condition.
We encourage our customers to avail of our free samples service. We would like to stress that samples will not give a full representation of the product and are provided to give a general appearance of the goods – but not so as to constitute a sale by sample. If you wish to view any product in more detail please visit our showrooms where you will see products in large room settings.
Pricing and Promotions
All orders and discounts/ sale items are provided at our discretion.
Variations and Characteristics
All our materials are of high quality and are supplied within Manufacturers tolerance limits of sizes, colour variations, calibrations are all products of nature and therefore will naturally contain some or all of the following characteristics: Colour variations, sizing variations, machinery imperfections etc. We strongly recommend that all our products are installed by experienced and competent fitters whom are responsible for conditions of site before installation. Please be aware that when re-ordering shades and sizes can vary from batch to batch.
We take great care in the preparation and packing of all our orders. It is the customers responsibility to check for breakages and shortages and must be reported to us for investigation with 24 hours of delivery.
